If you're one of the advanced 007 collectors, you'll know exactly how rare these genuine originals are. If you're not, you may be unaware of the elite and significant differences. In the years before the release of Star Wars, James Bond and Universal Horror were the main film franchises that garnered the most interest within the movie paper collecting community. Needless to say, there's always been a very big demand for Bond photographs, especially ones that feature the hot Bond girls and/or Sean Connery. Because of the limited quantity of original stills available, many of the movie poster dealers would produce unofficial duplicate "copies" of the photographs to sell in their stores and at the collecting shows.

>>>>"ORIGINAL" means studio authorized & printed back in 1964 & 1965! One of the easiest ways of telling if yours is NOT an original and a "dupe" is when you can clearly see an obvious drop in the image quality! The problem, since few people have ever seen an original, is in finding the information necessary on how to discern a fake. I think if you can see how clear and sharp the originals are, and if you can see the original tags and stamps, it'll be easier to spot some of the more obvious fakes. Sorry to disappoint those who thought they might have had an original, but I need to point this out to distinguish why these RARE authentic photographs hold so much extra value.

Genuine 1964 & 1965 BRITISH issued pre-release originals almost never appear for sale, especially with the nearly impossible to get studio stamps and cast identification tags! Check out how nice the tags are; I've posted photos of the backs of some of the stills so you can see what the tags and stamps look like (see photo #11). That's because these genuine original pre-release stills are RARE! And if someone does have an original still, it's usually from the National Screen Service U.

A release, and not the prestigious country of origin British pre-release. I obtained this rare group of 12 British originals directly from the UK.

I'll also be listing five (5) original James Bond British lobby card sets soon as one lot - that's 40 cards from Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball and Diamonds are Forever. Look for that listing soon. Most of the stills are in really terrific shape - all in original condition.

The direct high-res scans that I post leave very little to the imagination. You could find better ones. That is, if you can find them at all! The #9 and #10 photos pictured are not as nice condition as the previous seven shown, but they're still nice.

I think you can see that from the scans posted. The three Thunderball stills pictured at the end in photo #12 were not properly washed back in 1965, and so the photography chemicals that remained in the paper over the past 50+ years have toned the emulsion on them with a reddish stain.

I'm basically throwing these in free, as I've not. Again, the direct scans I've posted show everything. The Nadja Regin Goldfinger still pictured in photo #4 is missing the tag. At some point it must have fallen off, but it still has the original United Artist stamp (see photo #11) on back and is in fantastic shape. All the other stills have the tags and stamps. Emilio Largo / SPECTRE #2. Angelo Palazzi / Major François Duval. SIr John - Air Marshal. It can crash regardless of any decision you make and can even crash regardless of any decision made by the company related to the stock - Leaving you with a near worthless piece of paper that won't inspire anyone!

The magnificence of art and historic documents have an inherent value that relates to civilization and society. This ORIGINAL photo lot is definitely. Please write with any questions.
